These sit in different size classes, so this is not a straight ranking comparison. The Xiaomi Sound Party ranks #20 of 166 medium speakers by sound quality at $149.99; the Zealot P12 ranks #58 of 103 large speakers by sound quality at $65.97.

The Xiaomi Sound Party is the longer-running choice. An unusually versatile 2.6 lbs (1.2 kg) outdoor speaker: IP67 dust/water protection, USB-C power-bank output, NFC pairing, lights, stereo pairing and a claimed 26-hour battery life. It is rated for 26 hours of battery against 20 for the Zealot P12. The tradeoff: The sound evidence is mixed rather than universally glowing.
Why pick the Zealot P12: Zealot pairs a 50W racetrack woofer with a 10W tweeter and dual passive radiators (60W total), and Techder Audios found it stays well controlled even at high volume, a clear step up from the Zealot P11. It keeps a wired aux input, which the Xiaomi Sound Party lacks. Watch for: Bass is good but not as deep or forceful as the Zealot S85, and the Xiaomi Sound Party beats it on both bass and loudness in a direct comparison.
Buy the Xiaomi Sound Party ($149.99) for a medium speaker; the Zealot P12 ($65.97) suits a large speaker instead.

The Two Speakers In Full
Xiaomi Sound Party: $149.99 Amazon eBay
Pros: An unusually versatile 1.2kg outdoor speaker: IP67 dust/water protection, USB-C power-bank output, NFC pairing, lights, stereo pairing and a claimed 26-hour battery life. Several independent reviews describe a warm, generally balanced sound with clear vocals and useful bass impact when Bass Boost is off. It is also easy to carry thanks to the retractable handle. Measured bass extension of 54Hz (-10dB).
Cons: The sound evidence is mixed rather than universally glowing. One lab review found it loud but flat and unclean with blurred treble, while others hear the Bass Boost mode as boomy upper bass that can bottom out at high volume. It is not the strongest choice for a large party: tested output is around 94dB and rivals such as the Soundcore Boom 2 play louder with deeper bass. SBC is the only Bluetooth codec and there is no aux input.

Zealot P12: $65.97 Amazon eBay
Pros: Zealot pairs a 50W racetrack woofer with a 10W tweeter and dual passive radiators (60W total), and Techder Audios found it stays well controlled even at high volume, a clear step up from the Zealot P11. It plays louder than the Xiaomi Sound Outdoor with clearer vocals. An 8000mAh battery rated for about 20 hours, IPX6 water resistance, TWS stereo pairing, three EQ modes, RGB lighting, a built in carry handle and USB, microSD and 3.5mm AUX playback cover the practical basics.
Cons: Bass is good but not as deep or forceful as the Zealot S85, and the Xiaomi Sound Party beats it on both bass and loudness in a direct comparison. The tuning leans natural rather than punchy, so listeners who want a heavy bass kick may find it restrained. Zealot’s listing contradicts itself on power (60W, 80W and 90W peak) and battery life (20 to 30 hours), and there is no companion app or published codec support.
