Short answer: the Soundcore Select 4 Go on value, the Tribit Stormbox Mini on stereo pairing. The Select 4 Go is inexpensive, IP67 rated, weighs 0.6 lbs (265 g) and claims 20 hours, but its bass is not deep, it does not get loud before sound quality drops and it plays mono without a second unit. The Stormbox Mini counters with IPX7 protection, 12 hours of battery, RGB lighting, app AAC, USB-C and true wireless stereo, though it lacks bass and sounds hollow. The Tribit Stormbox Mini is discontinued; its replacement is the Tribit Stormbox Mini+.
Buy the Tribit Stormbox Mini at $23 if you want a medium speaker. Buy the Soundcore Select 4 Go at $22.99 if you want a small speaker instead.
