Short answer: the Turtlebox Ranger for sound, the Tribit Stormbox Mini+ for features. The Ranger is smoother than the other Turtlebox speakers, though its bass sounds kind of thuddy and is not as deep as higher ranked speakers. The Mini+ is IPX7 waterproof with app EQ presets, AAC, TWS, USB-C and a built-in mic, but it is not a great sounding speaker with really weak bass.
Buy the Tribit Stormbox Mini+ if the price matters more than sound quality. Buy the Turtlebox Ranger if sound quality matters more than the price.
