It is quite neutral, though it gets murky and slightly sharp near max volume and its boosted bass distorts when pushed loud. The B&O Beoplay P2 has surprisingly strong bass for its size without distorting, but it costs $130 more and the notes say it was good for its time and is now beaten by many others.
Buy the Tribit Stormbox Micro only if you find one used in good condition; both are discontinued, and it is the better rated of the two. For a new speaker, start with the Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 instead.
There is a real gap in water resistance: the Tribit Stormbox Micro at IP67 (brief submersion) against the B&O Beoplay P2, which has no water resistance.

Newer model: the Tribit Stormbox Micro 3, ranked lower, rated 4.2/5.
Pros: Quite neutral. Slight hollowness in the mids. Built in strap is super useful for attaching it to things. Highly recommend spending a little more on the Micro 2 which goes louder and deeper. To have it aimed directly at you unclip the strap and the speaker will sit upright with a slight lean back. Measured bass extension of 62Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Gets murky and slightly sharp near max volume; boosted bass distorts when pushed loud. Down-firing passive radiator needs a flat surface underneath or the bass gets muffled. Discontinued and no longer sold new; superseded by the Stormbox Micro 2.
