Short answer: the LG Xboom Stage 301 for karaoke features, the Tribit Stormbox Blast 2 for bass. The Stage 301’s wedge design works as a karaoke hub with a removable, replaceable battery, multiple standing positions and Dual-Bar lighting, but it is overpriced and doesn’t have the greatest frequency response. The Blast 2 reaches pretty deep bass yet sounds quite muddy from its boosted lower and upper bass.
Buy the Tribit Stormbox Blast 2. It is rated higher for sound quality, and the $50 saving on the LG Xboom Stage 301 is not enough to make up the difference.
There is a real battery-life gap here: the Tribit Stormbox Blast 2 is rated for 30 hours, the LG Xboom Stage 301 only 12 hours.

Older model: the Tribit Stormbox Blast (ranked higher, rated 4.5/5).
Pros: Pretty deep bass. Measured bass extension of 40Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Sounds quite muddy with the boosted lower and upper bass. Boosted treble around 6kHz. Xbass mode makes it sound even more muddy. Nowhere near as neutral and balanced as the first Blast and a big downgrade unless you only care about max volume
