Short answer: the Tribit Stormbox 2, unless USB-C charging matters to you. The Boom 4 is IP67 rated, floats and finally charges via USB-C instead of Micro-USB, but it is not much of an improvement over the older Booms. The Tribit is the better sounding unit, a little better than the Stormbox 1 with less rolled off treble, though its side drivers roll the treble off face on.
Buy the Tribit Stormbox 2. It is rated higher for sound quality than the Ultimate Ears Boom 4 and costs less, so only choose the other one for a particular feature it does better.
If battery life is a priority, the Tribit Stormbox 2 is rated for 24 hours versus 15 hours for the Ultimate Ears Boom 4.

Older model: the Tribit Stormbox (ranked lower, rated 2.8/5).
Pros: A little better sounding than the Stormbox 1, less of a rolled off treble. Keep Xbass on for best frequency response.
Cons: Drivers on the side, so it will have a rolled off treble listening to it face on.
