It is rated IPX7 against Splash resistant for the Minirig 4. The tradeoff: Drivers on the side, so it will have a rolled off treble listening to it face on.
Buy the Minirig 4. It is rated higher for sound quality, and saving $159.96 with the Tribit Stormbox 2 does not make up for the sound-quality gap.
