Short answer: the Onn XL for value - it’s roughly half the price and comes with two wireless microphones included; the Rockster Air 2 if you want XLR-level inputs and a battery that lasts days instead of hours. These rank #5 and #11 out of 14 party-size speakers, at $499.99 and $249.
The Onn XL is the budget pick, and it doesn’t feel stripped-down. Our own notes call it an exceptional value: it ships with two wireless microphones, has a handle and wheels the Rockster Air 2 lacks, adds an IPX4 splash rating against the Teufel’s none, and is rated at 240W against the Rockster Air 2’s 80W. It’s also the heaviest speaker here at 19.96 kg (44 lbs), nearly 6 kg (13 lbs) more than the Rockster Air 2 - the wheels are doing real work.
The Rockster Air 2 wins on runtime and input flexibility. 58 hours of battery against the Onn’s 16, and true XLR line and microphone input rather than the Onn’s more basic mic/guitar jacks - relevant if you’re plugging in real instruments or professional mic gear rather than the included wireless mics. Its single horn-loaded tweeter is also built to disperse more evenly off-axis than a typical dual-tweeter design like the Onn’s.
Sound quality is a wash on paper. The Onn’s own notes flag it as a little bright up top and not quite as balanced as JBL’s Partybox 330, while the Rockster Air 2’s own weak point is bass that isn’t especially deep - neither is the standout in this pair for tonal balance.
Buy the Onn XL for the included wireless mics, wheels, and lower price. Buy the Rockster Air 2 if all-day battery life and real XLR inputs matter more than upfront cost.
There is a real gap in water resistance: the Onn XL Wireless Party Speaker at IPX4 (splashing) against the Teufel Rockster Air 2, which has no water resistance.

Older model: the Teufel Rockster Air (ranked lower, rated 3.4/5).
Pros: More consistent off-axis sound than the JBL Partybox 130, thanks to its single horn-loaded compression driver. Projects sound more evenly to the sides, unlike the JBL’s narrower front-firing dispersion. Cleaner instrument separation at high volume than the JBL Partybox 130, which turns anemic and loses bass at max volume despite its bass boost.
Cons: Bass isn’t as deep as the JBL Partybox 130’s boosted bass, though the JBL’s is boomy rather than truly deep. Bass and treble aren’t perfectly controlled at maximum volume - can sound hollow or too bright unless turned down from default. Not meaningfully louder than its 3-year-old predecessor, and the reviewer found the overall tuning a bit worse.

Onn XL Wireless Party Speaker: $249.00 Walmart eBay
Pros: A compelling all-in-one party and karaoke package: dual 8-inch woofers, 240W claimed output, two included wireless microphones, dual mic/guitar inputs, karaoke effects and USB-A phone charging. It plays loudly enough for backyard use and has punchy bass; owners especially like the wheels, telescoping handle and colorful light effects. At 44 lb it is still a substantial cabinet, but the trolley design makes moving it far easier than carrying it.
Cons: Sound favors punch and a forward/bright top end over refinement. Independent comparisons and owner reports find the bass less deep and the overall balance less satisfying than the JBL PartyBox 320; several consider the far-cheaper Onn Large Party gen 2 the better sound-per-dollar buy. Some owners report distortion or static at high volume, and a few report wireless-mic pairing/dropout problems. Large (30 inches tall, 44 lb) and only IPX4 splash-resistant, not a speaker to leave out in rain.
