Short answer: the Stage 320 if sound quality is the priority, the Onn XL if you want two wireless microphones and karaoke effects bundled in for about half the price. Both are 240W-class, wheeled, trolley-handle party speakers with dual mic and guitar inputs, so the real choice is between raw value and refinement.
The Onn XL’s karaoke package is the reason to consider it at all. It ships with two wireless microphones included, plus karaoke effects and a telescoping handle over dual 8-inch woofers, all for $249. The Stage 320 has karaoke mode with an echo effect too, but no bundled microphones, so you’re paying for the mic separately if you go that route. Reviewer and owner reports consistently describe the Onn XL’s tuning as bright and punch-forward rather than deep or refined, and a handful mention static or distortion at high volume plus wireless mic dropouts.
The Stage 320 is the more polished speaker. Its 2x 6.5-inch woofers hold more bass at high volume than JBL’s own previous 310, and its removable battery, 5-band EQ and Auracast support are all things the Onn XL lacks entirely. The tradeoff is cost: at $499.95 it’s roughly double, and its own weak point is a slightly sibilant treble at full blast, so neither speaker is neutral under pressure.

Pros: A compelling all-in-one party and karaoke package: dual 8-inch woofers, 240W claimed output, two included wireless microphones, dual mic/guitar inputs, karaoke effects and USB-A phone charging. It plays loudly enough for backyard use and has punchy bass; owners especially like the wheels, telescoping handle and colorful light effects. At 44 lb it is still a substantial cabinet, but the trolley design makes moving it far easier than carrying it.
Cons: Sound favors punch and a forward/bright top end over refinement. Independent comparisons and owner reports find the bass less deep and the overall balance less satisfying than the JBL PartyBox 320; several consider the far-cheaper Onn Large Party gen 2 the better sound-per-dollar buy. Some owners report distortion or static at high volume, and a few report wireless-mic pairing/dropout problems. Large (30 inches tall, 44 lb) and only IPX4 splash-resistant, not a speaker to leave out in rain.
