The Soundcore Motion 300 is the better-sounding, deeper-bass option. Pretty deep bass for the small size. Its bass reaches about 50Hz before falling 10dB, against 82Hz for the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 2. Alan Ross Reviews measured it at 101dB at full volume, against 88dB for the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 2. It supports LDAC Bluetooth, which the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 2 lacks. The tradeoff: Without the above EQ or turning the top 2 treble EQ bars to max, this speaker is very rolled off in the treble and will rank around #50 in the rankings.
The Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 2 is the lighter option. IP67 rated and floats. At 0.9 lbs (420 g) it weighs much less than the Soundcore Motion 300 at 1.7 lbs (772 g). The catch: Not stereo, barely any bass, recessed treble.
Buy the Soundcore Motion 300. It is rated higher for sound quality than the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 2 and costs less, so it is the default pick unless a specific strength of the other one matters more to you.

Pros: Pretty deep bass for the small size. Pocket size in a big pocket. Can be used in stereo facing you, or omnidirectional lying down. Ability to have a custom EQ for each orientation, standing, lying flat, hanging. Try the Uboom L EQs from Oluv for a more neutral sound. Measured bass extension of 50Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Without the above EQ or turning the top 2 treble EQ bars to max, this speaker is very rolled off in the treble and will rank around #50 in the rankings. Bassup mode is worse than Signature. Not quite as detailed or neutral as higher ranked speakers. Slight bass distortion when turned up.

Pros: IP67 rated and floats. Compact and light enough to toss in a bag. Measured bass extension of 82Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Not stereo, barely any bass, recessed treble. Slightly boosted 93Hz upper bass Dip at 9kHz. You can tell from the micro USB that they are just feeding you the same crap hardware over and over, this is inexcusable for a product released in 2019. Not technically a 360 speaker, only front and rear.
