The Motion 300’s stock tuning needs real correction. Without the recommended EQ or manually maxing the top two treble bands, our notes say it’s very rolled off in the treble and would rank around #50. Applying it unlocks a genuinely unusual feature: separate custom EQ profiles for standing, lying flat, or hanging orientation.
The PA1 is more straightforward: use its bass mode for the flattest response, with pretty deep bass for the money, though peaks in the upper mids, low treble, and a big peak in the upper treble remain.
Buy the Soundcore Motion 300. It is rated higher for sound quality, and saving $40 with the TOZO PA1 does not make up for the sound-quality gap.
There is a real battery-life gap here: the TOZO PA1 is rated for 25 hours, the Soundcore Motion 300 only 13 hours.
