Short answer: the Soundcore Motion 300 for better sound quality, the 1More S1001bt for the lower price. The Soundcore Motion 300 ranks #2 of 135 medium speakers at $79.99. The 1More S1001bt ranks #28 at $74, $5.99 cheaper.
The case for the Soundcore Motion 300: It has pretty deep bass for its small, pocketable size, can be used in stereo facing you or omnidirectional lying down, supports a custom EQ for each orientation (standing, lying flat, hanging), and sounds more neutral with Oluv’s Uboom L EQs applied. The catch: without that EQ (or maxing the top two treble bars) it’s very rolled off in the treble, Bassup mode sounds worse than Signature, it isn’t as detailed or neutral as higher ranked speakers, and there’s slight bass distortion when turned up.
What the 1More S1001bt gets right: It’s IPX4 water resistant with a 12-hour battery, an EQ and extra-bass button, a power bank function, 30W of output, and a dual-driver setup with DSP virtual bass. Set against that: it isn’t stereo, runs somewhat bass boosted with a warmer sound overall, and gets quite bassy when heard off axis.
Buy the Soundcore Motion 300 if sound quality matters more than the price. Buy the 1More S1001bt if the price matters more than sound quality.
If water resistance matters to you, the Soundcore Motion 300 at IPX7 (brief submersion) holds up far better than the 1More S1001bt at IPX4 (splashing).

Soundcore Motion 300: $79.99 Amazon
Pros: Pretty deep bass for the small size. Pocket size in a big pocket. Can be used in stereo facing you, or omnidirectional lying down. Ability to have a custom EQ for each orientation, standing, lying flat, hanging. Try the Uboom L EQs from Oluv for a more neutral sound.
Cons: Without the above EQ or turning the top 2 treble EQ bars to max, this speaker is very rolled off in the treble and will rank around #50 in the rankings. Bassup mode is worse than Signature. Not quite as detailed or neutral as higher ranked speakers. Slight bass distortion when turned up.
