The Soundcore Glow is the better-sounding, deeper-bass choice. Nice light show. Its bass reaches about 54Hz before falling 10dB, against 68Hz for the JBL Grip. It supports AAC Bluetooth, which the JBL Grip lacks. The catch: Bass falls off quickly at louder volumes, leaving mostly treble; distortion on bass-heavy tracks at full volume.
The JBL Grip is the lighter pick. Ambient light on the back with settable themes. At 0.8 lbs (385 g) it weighs much less than the Soundcore Glow at 1.8 lbs (800 g). The catch: Lacking deeper bass, definitely the worst of the JBL line until you get to the smaller clip.
Buy the JBL Grip, since the Soundcore Glow is discontinued and only worth hunting down used.

Soundcore Glow: $80 Discontinued eBay
Pros: Nice light show. Treble boosted 7db. Not technically a 360 speaker, only front and rear. Measured bass extension of 54Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Bass falls off quickly at louder volumes, leaving mostly treble; distortion on bass-heavy tracks at full volume. Light effects and bass-boost noticeably shorten battery life. USB-C port doesn’t support power-bank charging. Discontinued and no longer sold new.
