The Sony SRS-XB43 is the longer-running option. A waterproof party speaker with lights, a long battery and an Extra Bass mode for heavier low end. It is rated for 24 hours of battery against 16 for the Onn Portable FM Boombox. It has an adjustable EQ, which the Onn Portable FM Boombox lacks. The catch: Not as loud as others in the category.
The Onn Portable FM Boombox is the better-sounding, lighter option. An excellent value waterproof boombox that floats, with reasonably deep bass, FM radio, lights and a long battery.
