Short answer: the Onn Portable FM Boombox, if you are buying new. The Vifa Helsinki ranks higher than it (#1 vs #26 of 115 large speakers, 4.8/5 vs 4.2/5) but is discontinued, so only consider it used; the Onn Portable FM Boombox is still sold new at $74.83.
The Onn Portable FM Boombox is the longer-running, tougher option. An excellent value waterproof boombox that floats, with reasonably deep bass, FM radio, lights and a long battery. It is rated for 16 hours of battery against 8 for the Vifa Helsinki. It is rated IPX7, while the Vifa Helsinki has no water resistance. It links with other speakers (Party Sync, pairs with 1 other onn. speaker), which the Vifa Helsinki cannot. The catch: Reasonable frequency response, but not quite as smooth as some of the top-ranked speakers in this size.
The Vifa Helsinki is the better-sounding, lighter option. A superb sounding battery powered speaker, with exceptionally clean mids and treble, now discontinued but worth buying used. At 3.1 lbs (1.4 kg) it weighs noticeably less than the Onn Portable FM Boombox at 4.9 lbs (2.22 kg). The catch: No TWS pairing, looks like a purse, requires a hacked Vifa app (Android only post #48) to enable night mode to sound good.
Buy the Onn Portable FM Boombox if you want one new; the Vifa Helsinki is discontinued, so only look for it used.
