Short answer: the Sony SRS-XB100, unless price is the main concern, though neither ranks well in its class. Neither speaker has much bass, but they get there differently. The XB100’s notes describe it as not having much bass and feeling pretty much the same as its own predecessor, the XB13, maybe with a teeny bit deeper bass and a little less muddiness. The Sound Pocket’s notes call it bass light too, and add that vocals turn harsh above about 80% volume, and it vibrates and walks on hard surfaces at higher volume when standing upright.

Buy the Sony SRS-XB100 for the longer battery life, the bag clip, and the option to pair two units for stereo.
Buy the Xiaomi Sound Pocket if the lower price matters more than battery life and you can live with harshness at higher volumes.

Xiaomi Sound Pocket: $22.62 Amazon AliExpress eBay
Pros: A genuinely pocketable 200g speaker with IP67 protection, USB-C charging, speakerphone capability and TWS pairing. Independent listening finds it surprisingly loud and clear for hotel rooms, patios and travel, with acceptable sound at moderate volume.
Cons: Its 5W driver has little real bass, and vocals can become harsh as volume rises beyond roughly 80%. When upright on a hard surface it can vibrate or walk around, and the claimed 10-hour battery life applies only at modest volume; full recharging is slow at around three hours.
