Short answer: the Tribit Stormbox 2 for treble balance, the Sonos Roam for IP67 portability. The Tribit sounds a little better than the Stormbox 1 with less of a rolled off treble, but its side-mounted drivers still sound rolled off face on. The Roam is very neutral and IP67 rated at ~1 lbs (454 g), though its bass extension isn’t very good.
Buy the Tribit Stormbox 2 if you want one new; the Sonos Roam is discontinued, so only look for it used.

Pros: Very neutral. IP67 rated at ~1 lb. Wireless (Qi) charging: rare for a portable speaker. Works with Alexa/Sonos Voice Control and the wider Sonos ecosystem over Wi-Fi. Measured bass extension of 63Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Bass extension isn’t very good. Not stereo. Gets distorted if you turn up the bass. Discontinued.
