Short answer: the RCF ART 945-A for almost everyone. These rank #1 and #3 out of 76 15-inch powered PA speakers, separated by a substantial $4,401 price gap.
The ART 945-A is the stronger measured performer. Medium-quality vendor data gives it a 6.69 ideal-subwoofer preference score with roughly 50Hz extension, the strongest-measuring 15-inch RCF in its lineup. The H-15’s low-quality vendor data still returns a solid 5.2 score with roughly 70Hz extension, noticeably shallower, and its own review notes the low-quality measurement source limits confidence in the exact result.
Weight and portability heavily favor the RCF. At 49.4 lbs (22.4 kg) the ART 945-A is barely more than half the H-15’s 83.8 lbs (38 kg), which its own review describes as among the heaviest and most expensive 15-inch boxes here, aimed at rental and touring use rather than casual portability. The H-15 does bring a beryllium-diaphragm compression driver and a narrow, feedback-resistant 60 degree x 40 degree pattern carried over from the h-12, versus the ART 945-A’s wider 100 x 60 degree coverage.
Both share the same amplifier-class DSP philosophy: the ART 945-A runs FiRPHASE and Bass Motion Control, while the H-15 uses its own onboard DSP with Ethernet/IP remote monitoring for networked touring rigs.
Buy the RCF ART 945-A for the better measured score, far lighter cabinet, and a fraction of the price.
Buy the Vue Audiotechnik H-15 only if you need its narrow, feedback-resistant pattern and beryllium driver for a touring rig where weight and price are not deciding factors.

Frequency Response Compared
Both speakers’ spinorama measurements, overlaid. A flatter line is more neutral: peaks sound forward or harsh, dips sound recessed. Each curve is shifted so its average from 300 Hz to 3 kHz sits at 0 dB, so loudness differences between the two are removed and only the shape is compared.
