Short answer: the Onn Portable FM Boombox. It ranks #26 of 115 large speakers by sound quality, rated 4.2/5, at $74.83; the W-King T9 ranks #50, rated 3.6/5, and costs $111.23, so there is not much of a tradeoff to weigh.
The Onn Portable FM Boombox is the better-sounding, lighter choice. An excellent value waterproof boombox that floats, with reasonably deep bass, FM radio, lights and a long battery. At 4.9 lbs (2.22 kg) it weighs much less than the W-King T9 at 10.1 lbs (4.6 kg). It is rated IPX7, while the W-King T9 has no water resistance. It links with other speakers (Party Sync, pairs with 1 other onn. speaker), which the W-King T9 cannot. The tradeoff: Reasonable frequency response, but not quite as smooth as some of the top-ranked speakers in this size.
The W-King T9 is the longer-running option. A loud stereo party speaker with a wireless microphone for karaoke, lights, a long battery and a power bank. It is rated for 24 hours of battery against 16 for the Onn Portable FM Boombox. Watch for: Peaks in the upper mids which makes it sound a bit harsh.
Buy the Onn Portable FM Boombox. It is rated higher for sound quality than the W-King T9 and costs less, so only choose the other one for a particular feature it does better.
