Short answer: the Teufel Rockster Air for XLR inputs and battery life, the Onn Large Party gen 2 for price and availability. The Rockster Air’s replaceable battery lasts a claimed 30 hours with XLR mic and instrument inputs plus daisy-chaining, reaching 112dB, though our notes describe a peaky midrange and distortion above half volume. The Onn costs far less and is available more widely, with karaoke mic and guitar inputs and wheels built in, though Consumer Reports found its own bass boomy and treble smeared. The Teufel Rockster Air is discontinued; its replacement is the Teufel Rockster Air 2.
