Soundboks 2 reaches a claimed 124dB with a removable battery, but it’s discontinued and costs far more than the Onn Large Party gen 2 even used. They rank 19 of 51 and 31 of 51.
Soundboks 2’s dual 10” woofers and silk-dome tweeter reach a claimed 124dB with a 40-hour removable battery, plus aux, mic and guitar inputs, though at 15kg it lacks weather protection, an app or TWS pairing, and JBL-style rivals now measure better.
Onn Large Party gen 2 costs far less with karaoke mic/guitar inputs and wheels of its own, though Consumer Reports found its bass boomy and treble smeared.
Buy the Soundboks 2 if you find one and want its extreme output and removable battery. Buy the Onn Large Party gen 2 for a much lower price today.
If battery life is a priority, the Soundboks 2 is rated for 40 hours versus 12 hours for the Onn Large Party gen 2.
Water resistance is not close: the Onn Large Party gen 2 is rated at IPX4 (splashing), well ahead of the Soundboks 2 at no water resistance.

The Two Speakers In Full
Onn Large Party gen 2: $129 Walmart eBay
Pros: A remarkably full-featured, manageable 9.5kg party speaker: wheels and handle, FM radio, aux, USB-A charging, mic and guitar inputs with karaoke echo, and Party Sync. Independent testing confirms bass with real impact and enough output for a large room; it is a clear improvement over the Gen 1 for low-end weight.
Cons: The low price shows in the refinement. Consumer Reports found boomy bass, hazy/grainy mids, a prominent smeared treble and a narrow, two-dimensional soundfield; it also notes distortion or other audio issues. There is no app or EQ to tame the tuning, and IPX4 only covers splashes rather than rain or immersion.

Soundboks 2: $449.00 Discontinued eBay
Pros: Built for maximum outdoor output: its two 10-inch woofers and silk-dome tweeter reach a claimed 124dB, while the removable battery is rated for up to 40 hours. It also provides aux, microphone and guitar inputs, making it a practical battery-powered option for loud parties and informal performances.
Cons: At 15kg it is large to transport, lacks weather protection, app EQ and TWS stereo pairing, and relies on an external charging arrangement. Its tonal balance and bass depth are less refined than stronger modern party speakers, and this discontinued model requires caution around used-battery condition and support. Discontinued.
