Short answer: the Onn Large Party gen 2, because the Sony GTK-XB90 is discontinued with muddy, shallow bass. The GTK-XB90 pairs EXTRA BASS technology with LED lights synced to the beat and Fiestable DJ controls, but our notes describe muddy, shallow bass with a weird midrange peak and rolled-off treble. The Onn costs far less with its own karaoke mic and guitar inputs, FM radio and wheels, though Consumer Reports found its own bass boomy and treble smeared.

Buy the Onn Large Party gen 2 over the discontinued Sony GTK-XB90: it’s much cheaper with similarly uneven tuning either way.
There is a real gap in water resistance: the Onn Large Party gen 2 at IPX4 (splashing) against the Sony GTK-XB90, which has no water resistance.
