Short answer: the Samsung MX-ST50B for app EQ and Group Play on mains power, the Onn Large Party gen 2 for value. The MX-ST50B’s 240W output and app EQ deliver clear, punchy sound on mains power with Group Play linking up to 10 speakers, but output drops sharply to 90W on battery and it lacks TWS stereo pairing. The Onn costs much less with karaoke mic and guitar inputs and wheels of its own, though Consumer Reports found its bass boomy and treble smeared with no app or EQ.

Buy the Samsung MX-ST50B if app EQ and Group Play matter and you’ll mostly use it plugged into mains. Buy the Onn Large Party gen 2 for the lower price and simpler karaoke setup.
There is a real battery-life gap here: the Samsung MX-ST50B is rated for 18 hours, the Onn Large Party gen 2 only 12 hours.
