Short answer: the Minirig 3 with subwoofer for a balanced sound, the Sony ULT Field 5 for weatherproofing. The Minirig is very balanced but not stereo, its app is buggy, and it costs $88 more. The Sony is IP67 rated, dustproof and water resistant, but its bass is shallower than others in the class and the sound is just okay.
Buy the Minirig 4 with subwoofer, the replacement for the discontinued Minirig 3 with subwoofer; it is rated higher for sound quality than the Sony ULT Field 5.
Water resistance is not close: the Sony ULT Field 5 is rated at IP67 (brief submersion), well ahead of the Minirig 3 with subwoofer at Splash resistant (splashing).
