Short answer: the Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 for sound, the Minirig Mini for the subwoofer option. Our notes call the Micro 2 best in class sound and it costs $64.61 less, though its phone charging is finicky and usually does not work. The Mini takes an easily attached subwoofer but calls itself splash resistant with no official water rating. The Minirig Mini is discontinued; its replacement is the Minirig Mini 2.
Buy the Tribit Stormbox Micro 2. It is rated higher for sound quality; the Minirig Mini is no longer sold new.
There is a real gap in water resistance: the Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 at IP67 (brief submersion) against the Minirig Mini, which has Splash resistant (splashing).
