Short answer: the Master & Dynamic MW07, though neither ranks well in its class. It ranks #1119 of 1291 in-ear headphones by sound quality, rated 2.3/5, at $156.75; the Final Audio E4000 ranks #1131, rated 2.2/5, and costs $162, which makes this an easy call rather than a real tradeoff. Both are rated below 3.0/5 among the 1291 in-ear headphones; for better sound, the Truthear Nova ranks #2 at $169.99.
Why pick the Master & Dynamic MW07: These true wireless earbuds support aptX alongside SBC for better quality from compatible Android phones, and an IPX4 rating protects them against sweat and splashes. The tradeoff: Crinacle’s measurement gives it a preference score of 53, far from the balance most listeners prefer.
Why pick the Final Audio E4000: Lower mids sit within about 0.6 dB of target, keeping voices and guitars natural. The catch: Presence sits about 5.9 dB low with a 9.8 dB dip near 11.5 kHz, so vocals and instruments lose some bite.
Buy the Master & Dynamic MW07. It is rated higher for sound quality than the Final Audio E4000 and costs less, so it is the default pick unless a specific strength of the other one matters more to you.
