Short answer: the Marshall Stockwell II, unless you prize the Devialet Mania’s looks. The Stockwell II is possibly the most natural sounding Marshall speaker, though it is not stereo, is not very loud and adds a DSP reverb purists may find annoying. The Mania is small and nice looking but is not very loud, boosts bass, rolls treble off heavily off-axis because its tweeters are not aimed at the listener, and lasts only 10 hours.
Devialet Mania’s strengths: It’s small and nice looking. The tradeoff: it isn’t very loud, carries an extremely high price, has boosted bass, and its tweeters aren’t aimed at the listener, causing a huge treble rolloff off-axis compared to the Beoplay P6, on top of only 10 hours of battery life and upper mids and treble that Oluv didn’t care for.
Buy the Marshall Stockwell II. It is rated higher for sound quality than the Devialet Mania and costs less, which makes it the one to get unless you need something the other one does better.

Pros: Marshall Stockwell II uses 3” woofer, 2x 2” fullrange tweeters. Its 1.4 kg, claimed 20 hours (Manufacturer specified) battery life, IPX4 protection, aux input, up to 96dB and mono playback make it a practical option for its intended room or portable use. Possibly the most natural sounding Marshall speaker, with excellent off-axis sound. Measured bass extension of 44Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Bass is limited by its 44Hz specification. There is no companion app. No EQ adjustment. Not very loud, and the added DSP reverb may annoy purists.

Cons: Not very loud. Extremely high price. Bass boosted. Tweeters are not aimed at you and there’s a huge treble rolloff off-axis as compared to the Beoplay P6 in the comparison video. Only 10 hours of battery. Oluv didn’t like the upper mids or treble (mentioned on his Patreon)
