Short answer: the Marshall Kilburn II, if you are buying new. The Vifa Helsinki ranks higher than it (#1 vs #43 of 115 large speakers, 4.8/5 vs 3.8/5) but is discontinued, so only consider it used; the Marshall Kilburn II is still sold new at $219.
The Marshall Kilburn II is the longer-running, tougher option. A rugged Marshall styled stereo speaker with a leather handle, quick charging and a sound that suits rock. It is rated for 20 hours of battery against 8 for the Vifa Helsinki. It is rated IPX2, while the Vifa Helsinki has no water resistance. Watch for: Boosted upper bass, not very detailed, not as deep bass as competitors, upper mids peak.
The Vifa Helsinki is the better-sounding, deeper-bass pick. A superb sounding battery powered speaker, with exceptionally clean mids and treble, now discontinued but worth buying used. Its bass reaches about 48Hz before falling 10dB, against 58Hz for the Marshall Kilburn II. At 3.1 lbs (1.4 kg) it weighs much less than the Marshall Kilburn II at 5.5 lbs (2.49 kg). It supports aptX Bluetooth, which the Marshall Kilburn II lacks. The tradeoff: No TWS pairing, looks like a purse, requires a hacked Vifa app (Android only post #48) to enable night mode to sound good.
Buy the Marshall Kilburn II new; the Vifa Helsinki is no longer sold new, so it only makes sense as a used find.
