Short answer: neither is the bass champion of this class, so pick on the specifics that matter to you - true stereo and power-bank output favor the Bromley 750, lighter weight favors the Soundboks 4. These rank #12 and #8 out of 12 large-party speakers, at $999.95 and $1,199.
Both share a similar weak point. The Soundboks 4’s own notes say it isn’t as neutral or as deep in the bass as the Partybox-class speakers above it, and the Bromley 750’s notes say much the same about its own bass and overall frequency response. Neither is the pick here if deep, neutral bass is the priority - look at the Partybox line or the Electro-Voice Everse speakers instead.
The Bromley 750 has real stereo separation; the Soundboks 4 doesn’t. The Bromley 750’s driver layout is genuine stereo, while the Soundboks 4 is a mono cabinet. The Bromley 750 also has a USB-C power-bank port for charging your phone, which the Soundboks 4 lacks, and slightly more battery life on paper - 40-plus hours against 40.
The Soundboks 4 is lighter and reaches similar peak loudness for its size. At 15.4 kg (34 lbs) it’s well under two-thirds the Bromley 750’s weight, and its high-efficiency driver design is built to reach 2-3x the volume of a typical speaker at the same wattage - the same approach used by Electro-Voice’s Everse line.
Buy the Bromley 750 for true stereo sound and a power-bank port. Buy the Soundboks 4 if you want something noticeably lighter to move around.

Pros: Much wider, more consistent off-axis dispersion than the JBL Partybox 720, which only fires forward - the Marshall’s standout feature, sounding about the same from any angle.
Cons: Not as deep bass as the JBL Partybox 330 or JBL Partybox 720. Not a great frequency response overall, with some midrange peaks. Only basic bass/treble controls, no full custom EQ like the JBL Partybox 720’s app. Default bass (dynamic mode) is overdone out of the box and needs trimming.
