Our own cons entry for the LG doesn’t mince words: overpriced for what it is, with frequency response our notes call less than great. Its case is really the wedge-shaped design, built as a karaoke hub with a removable battery and multiple standing positions.
The X20 competes on raw specs instead. A 7.5-inch subwoofer, 330W peak power, and a 24-hour battery with a built-in power bank, though its own cons note a rising response with rolled-off upper treble and peaks at 700Hz and 1.2kHz.
Buy the X20 for the better value. Buy the Stage 301 only if its karaoke-hub form factor and standing positions are specifically what you need.
There is a real battery-life gap here: the W-King X20 is rated for 24 hours, the LG Xboom Stage 301 only 12 hours.
