Short answer: the Tribit Stormbox for features and real stereo, the Klipsch Groove for a more balanced tuning, though neither ranks well in its class. The Stormbox is IPX7 rated, pairs two units for stereo, runs 20 hours and reaches 97dB, but it sounds muffled with treble dips from 5kHz-12kHz. The Klipsch is the better-balanced of the two, though it is not stereo. Both are rated below 3.0/5 among the 157 medium speakers, and the Earfun Uboom L, ranked #1 at $49.79, is a better place to start if sound quality matters.
Buy the Klipsch Groove new; the Tribit Stormbox is no longer sold new, so it only makes sense as a used find.
Water resistance is not close: the Tribit Stormbox is rated at IPX7 (brief submersion), well ahead of the Klipsch Groove at IPX4 (splashing).

The Two Speakers In Full
Klipsch Groove: 9.00 Amazon eBay
Pros: Pretty balanced sound in a compact, splash-resistant form factor. IPX4 water resistance and ~8 hour battery life make it durable for outdoor and poolside use. 3-inch high excursion full-range driver paired with dual side-firing passive radiators.
Cons: Not stereo. Bass doesn’t go as deep as class leaders. Distortion sets in at higher output levels. Older Bluetooth 4.0 architecture without app EQ.

Tribit Stormbox: $68 Discontinued eBay
Newer model: the Tribit Stormbox 2, ranked higher, rated 3/5.
Pros: IPX7 water resistant, dual pairing for stereo setup, excellent battery life (20 hours), instant on/off buttons, 97dB max volume. Measured bass extension of 52Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Muffled sounding, treble dips from 5kHz-12kHz. Listening from the front is the worst frequency response, lay it down facing up with xbass off for the smoothest response. Not technically a 360 speaker, only front and rear. Discontinued; Tribit has retired it, superseded by the Stormbox 2.
