KEF seemed to have fixed the rolled off treble and overall balance on the Muo gen2, though it still lacks deeper bass. The Minirig 4 is modular and can easily attach a subwoofer, but it only calls itself splash resistant and has no official water rating.
Buy the Minirig 4. It is rated higher for sound quality than the KEF Muo gen2 and costs less, so only choose the other one for a particular feature it does better.
There is a real gap in water resistance: the KEF Muo gen2 at IP67 (brief submersion) against the Minirig 4, which has Splash resistant (splashing).
