Short answer: the JBL Xtreme 3. It ranks #18 of 102 large speakers by sound quality (rated 4.3/5) at $269.95 and is still sold new; the Dali Katch G1 ranks #83 (rated 2.8/5) and is discontinued, so it is only an option used.
The JBL Xtreme 3 is the better-sounding option. Better treble and deeper bass than the Xtreme 2. It links with other speakers (PartyBoost up to 100 speakers), which the Dali Katch G1 cannot. The tradeoff: Boosted bass.
The Dali Katch G1 is the longer-running, lighter option. Pretty neutral. It is rated for 24 hours of battery against 15 for the JBL Xtreme 3. At 2.4 lbs (1.1 kg) it weighs much less than the JBL Xtreme 3 at 4 lbs (1.83 kg). It supports aptX Bluetooth, which the JBL Xtreme 3 lacks. The tradeoff: Loses bass quickly after 40% volume.
Buy the JBL Xtreme 3. It is rated higher for sound quality, and the Dali Katch G1 is discontinued, so it is only available used.

Dali Katch G1: $279 Discontinued eBay
Newer model: the Dali Katch G2, ranked higher, rated 2.8/5.
Pros: Pretty neutral
Cons: Loses bass quickly after 40% volume. A lot of compression artifacts at high volume. External AC power brick for charging. Discontinued, superseded by the Dali Katch G2, which sounds nearly identical. Reverb added to the output screws up the imaging. Quite a hollow character to the sound.
