Short answer: the Vifa Helsinki for midrange and treble, the JBL Partybox 330 for everything else. The Helsinki is regarded as having the best midrange and treble sound quality of any battery powered Bluetooth speaker, but it has no TWS pairing, looks like a purse and needs a hacked Vifa app to enable night mode. The 330 has a convenient handle and wheels, though its sound is nearly identical to the 310 and Stage 320 despite the power bump.
One note: the Vifa Helsinki is discontinued, but it still ranks #1 of 102 large speakers by sound quality, ahead of most of what is still sold new, so it is worth considering used.
Buy the JBL Partybox 330 at $629.95 if you want a party speaker. Buy the Vifa Helsinki at $449 if you want a large speaker instead.
If water resistance matters to you, the JBL Partybox 330 at IPX4 (splashing) holds up far better than the Vifa Helsinki at no water resistance.

Older models: the JBL Partybox Stage 320 (ranked lower, rated 4.6/5), the JBL Partybox 310 (ranked lower, rated 4.5/5) and the JBL Partybox 300 (ranked lower, rated 4.3/5).
Pros: A highly complete rolling party speaker: removable battery, telescoping handle and wheels, light show, Auracast, USB-C lossless and optical inputs, plus dual mic/guitar inputs. It supplies a little more power than the JBL Partybox 310 and JBL Partybox Stage 320, while reviewers report better midrange clarity than the older JBL Partybox 310 and the same deep party-speaker bass.
Cons: It remains very large and heavy, and the sound improvement over the JBL Partybox Stage 320 is modest rather than transformational. JBL removed the dedicated mic gain/control knobs found on earlier models, a real drawback for frequent karaoke use. Do not upgrade from a JBL Partybox 310 or JBL Partybox Stage 320 just for the higher watt figure.

Vifa Helsinki: $449.00 Discontinued Amazon eBay
Pros: Generally regarded as the best midrange and treble sound quality of any battery powered Bluetooth speaker. Measured bass extension of 48Hz (-10dB).
Cons: No TWS pairing, looks like a purse, requires a hacked Vifa app (Android only post #48) to enable night mode to sound good. This one is hard to recommend generally these days: the Uboom L has 98% of the sound quality with more features and a much cheaper price. There are mentions that the 2022 “new” version of this speaker doesn’t sound as good as Vifa was purchased by a Chinese company and laid off all the great sound engineers in the Austria office. Discontinued.
