Short answer: the JBL Partybox 310 for better sound quality, the W-King T12 for the lower price. The JBL Partybox 310 ranks #3 of 50 party speakers at $499.95. The W-King T12 ranks #21 at $280.42, $219.53 cheaper.
The case for the JBL Partybox 310: It has the deepest bass of any battery powered speaker, the most balanced sound in its class, a convenient handle and wheels, customizable color lighting modes, and performance very close to the 320 (bumping treble one step in the app EQ makes it more neutral). The catch: it’s very large, and note that JBL’s daisychain feature isn’t compatible with non-JBL speakers and is possibly a fully digital signal.
What the W-King T12 gets right: It’s relatively cheap for what you get and not a bad speaker for the price. Set against that: it sounds boxy and doesn’t have the clarity of higher ranked speakers.
Buy the JBL Partybox 310 if sound quality matters more than the price. Buy the W-King T12 if the price matters more than sound quality.
If water resistance matters to you, the JBL Partybox 310 at IPX4 (splashing) holds up far better than the W-King T12 at no water resistance.
