Short answer: the JBL Partybox 100 for tonality, the Mackie Thump Go for output and range. The Thump Go pairs an 8-inch high-output woofer with a 1-inch compression driver for powerful audio and incredible dynamic range, but it is not quite as good sounding as an Everse 8 or S1 Pro and its Bluetooth pairing does not always auto connect. The Partybox 100 is the more neutral, deeper-bass speaker, with a slight upper-mid peak and a slight TWS delay.
Buy the JBL Partybox 100 at $499.99 if you want a party speaker. Buy the Mackie Thump Go at $449.99 if you want a battery-powered PA speaker instead.

Pros: Quite neutral sound, pretty deep bass. Measured bass extension of 41Hz (-10dB).
Cons: A slight peak in the upper mids. Slight TWS issue where the 2nd is slightly delayed. Just as loud and slightly deeper bass than a Stormbox Blast which is way smaller with better sound quality. Discontinued.
