Short answer: the JBL Flip 6 for the more neutral sound, the Tronsmart T7 for features. The Flip 6 is a very neutral, almost pocket-size speaker that is not stereo. The T7 adds IPX7 protection, a customizable EQ app with 6 modes, 30W output and up to 12 hours of battery with the LED ring off, but our notes call it peaky in the upper mids and mid treble.
What the JBL Flip 6 gets right: A very neutral speaker, very small, almost pocket size, a huge sound quality leap over the Flip 5. The tradeoff: Not stereo.
On the Tronsmart T7 side: IPX7 rated, customizable EQ app with 6 modes, pairs with second T7 for stereo, 30W output, up to 12 hours battery with LED ring off. The catch: Peaky in the upper mids and in the mid treble.
Buy the JBL Flip 6 if sound quality is the priority over the price, or the Tronsmart T7 if the price is the priority over sound quality.

Pros: A very neutral speaker, very small, almost pocket size, a huge sound quality leap over the Flip 5. Measured bass extension of 56Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Not stereo. Some slight upper mids emphasis. The TL version (made in Vietnam) tweeter can sound somewhat scratchy and doesn’t sound as good as the GG version (made in China)
