The Uboom L is the top-rated speaker in its size class. Two 55mm drivers and two passive radiators play in stereo from one unit, with clear vocals and a natural balance, and Alan Ross measured 103dB. It claims 16 hours of battery, keeps an aux input and has a 10-band EQ. Its Video Mode cuts latency to about 66ms, though that disables stereo pairing.
The Flip 6 is smaller and has the better ecosystem. At 1.2 lbs (544 g) it weighs about 0.2 lbs (100 g) less, it links with up to 100 other JBL speakers through PartyBoost, and its separate tweeter makes it very neutral. Both reach about 56Hz before falling 10dB and are rated IP67. It is mono, has no aux input, and its battery is rated for 12 hours.
Buy the EarFun Uboom L. It is rated higher for sound quality than the JBL Flip 6 and costs less, which makes it the one to get unless you need something the other one does better.
