Short answer: the JBL Flip 6 for plug-and-play, the Soundcore Motion 100 only with EQ work. The Motion 100 sounds its flattest once you dial in Oluv’s EQ, but its bass is not very deep, there is some distortion, real-world battery life falls well short of the claimed 12 hours at higher volumes at closer to 4, and charging takes roughly 5 hours. The Flip 6 is very neutral and a huge leap over the Flip 5, though it is not stereo.
Buy the JBL Flip 6 if sound quality is the priority over the price, or the Soundcore Motion 100 if the price is the priority over sound quality.

Pros: A very neutral speaker, very small, almost pocket size, a huge sound quality leap over the Flip 5. Measured bass extension of 56Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Not stereo. Some slight upper mids emphasis. The TL version (made in Vietnam) tweeter can sound somewhat scratchy and doesn’t sound as good as the GG version (made in China)

Pros: Use Oluv’s EQ for the flattest response. Measured bass extension of 65Hz (-10dB).
