Short answer: the JBL Clip 5 for features, the Muzen Wild Mini for feel. The Wild Mini’s retro military-radio design and all-metal zinc alloy body feel far more solid than the plastic speakers in this class, but it has not much bass at all and sounds quite thuddy, it is not very loud, and it is only IPX5 rather than submersible. The Clip 5 counters with a custom EQ, a wider carabiner and thicker back padding than the Clip 4.
Buy the JBL Clip 5. It is rated higher for sound quality than the Muzen Wild Mini and costs less, so only choose the other one for a particular feature it does better.
