Short answer: the JBL Clip 5. It ranks #21 of 47 small speakers by sound quality at $69.95; the Muzen Wild Mini ranks #40 and costs $75, so there is not much of a tradeoff to weigh.
What the JBL Clip 5 gets right: JBL Portable app adds custom EQ. Wider carabiner and thicker back padding than the Clip 4. The tradeoff: Generally more of the same from the Clip series in terms of sound but with more features.
On the Muzen Wild Mini side: Distinctive retro military-radio design with an all-metal (zinc alloy) body - feels far more solid than the plastic speakers in this class. Watch for: Not much bass at all, quite thuddy. Not very loud. Only IPX5, not submersible.
Buy the JBL Clip 5. It ranks higher for sound quality than the Muzen Wild Mini and costs less, so there is no real case for the other one.
If sound quality matters at all to you, skip the Muzen Wild Mini. It ranks near the bottom of the 47 small speakers, so look higher up the list instead.
