The Clip 5 adds a JBL Portable app with custom EQ, a wider carabiner and thicker back padding than the Clip 4, even if its sound is mostly more of the same from the series. The Dewalt Wearable is lightweight but our notes say it sounds worse than a clock radio with the worst bass of any speaker.
Buy the JBL Clip 5. It is rated higher for sound quality than the Dewalt Wearable Bluetooth Speaker and costs less, so only choose the other one for a particular feature it does better.
