Short answer: the JBL Charge 6 for a complete speaker, the Minirig 4 if you will add a subwoofer. The Minirig 4 is modular and can easily attach a subwoofer, but it only calls itself splash resistant and has no official water rating. The Charge 6 is more neutral than the Charge 5 with a flatter response through the mids and treble, though it still has boosted bass by default.
Buy the Minirig 4. It is rated higher for sound quality, and the $80 saving on the JBL Charge 6 is not enough to make up the difference.
Water resistance is not close: the JBL Charge 6 is rated at IP68 (extended submersion), well ahead of the Minirig 4 at Splash resistant (splashing).
