Fugoo Sport vs Tribit Stormbox Micro 2

Last updated: August 9, 2026

Different classes, so treat this as a step-up-or-not question rather than a head-to-head. The Fugoo Sport ranks #37 of 134 medium speakers at $33; the Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 ranks #1 of 46 small speakers at $34.19.

The case for the Fugoo Sport: Pretty neutral sound, slight upper mids peaks. The tradeoff: Battery life is well short of the original Fugoo’s 40 hours (about 10 hours).

What the Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 gets right: Best in class sound. Set against that: Finicky phone charging, which doesn’t usually work.

Buy the Fugoo Sport at $33 if you want a medium speaker. Buy the Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 at $34.19 if you want a small speaker instead.

Tribit Stormbox Micro 2: $34.19 Aliexpress Amazon

Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 ranking card

Pros: Best in class sound. Much deeper bass than most other speakers in the size. Built in strap is super useful for attaching it to things. Very neutral. To have it aimed directly at you unclip the strap and the speaker will sit upright with a slight lean back.

Cons: Finicky phone charging, which doesn’t usually work.

Setup: Use in Music EQ mode, when you switch to custom it’s not able to boost the bass properly as it is missing an EQ band that Music EQ mode uses
