The Doss is water bottle portable with IPX6, 12-hour battery life, fast pairing and a $39.90 price against $99, but it is horribly bad unless turned up. The XG5 is IP67 rated yet has a peaky midrange and rolled off treble. Both are rated below 3.0/5 among the 151 medium speakers, and the Earfun Uboom L, ranked #1 at $49.79, is a better place to start if sound quality matters.
Buy the Doss E-Go II. It is rated higher for sound quality than the LG Xboom XG5 and costs less, so only choose the other one for a particular feature it does better.
