What this page covers. The BGVP models ranked here span headphones, including BGVP Solomon and BGVP DN3. Use each model’s category position to compare it with alternatives of the same size and use case.

This page lists all 2 BGVP speakers ranked on this site across headphones. Each model is shown in the category where it competes, with its current rank and the size of that ranking.

Use the category position rather than the brand name alone: speakers from the same manufacturer can perform very differently by size, price and product family.

In-Ear Headphones

Ranked #49 of 297 in In-Ear Headphones - BGVP Solomon: $229.00 Amazon eBay

BGVP Solomon ranking card

Pros: Six hobbyist measurements on squig.link put its preference score at 81.1, with bass and low mids within about 1 dB of target and sub-bass holding flat to 20 Hz. The air band runs about 5.3 dB hot above 10 kHz, which adds an open, airy edge to strings and room ambience for listeners who like a lively top end. Very high sensitivity of 130.8 dB/Vrms means a phone or basic dongle drives it to full volume easily.

Cons: The presence region sits about 2.2 dB below target with a 3.9 dB dip near 3.1 kHz, so vocals and guitars can sound set back behind the bass and treble. A 4.8 dB peak near 10.2 kHz can make bright recordings sound slightly etched. Its very low 7.3 ohm impedance can pick up hiss from noisy sources.

Ranked #227 of 297 in In-Ear Headphones - BGVP DN3: $74.99 HiFiGo eBay

BGVP DN3 ranking card

Pros: A dynamic driver and balanced armature hybrid that adds about 3.6 dB of bass between 60 and 200 Hz in squig.link measurements, giving rock and pop extra punch and body. Sub-bass holds within 6 dB of target down to 20 Hz. At 19 ohms and 109 dB/mW it plays loud from any phone, and each earpiece weighs just 5 g. It rates higher than the Shure SE215 while costing less.

Cons: Treble swings from a 4.3 dB peak near 8.1 kHz to a 6.3 dB dip near 9.9 kHz, so cymbals can sound splashy one moment and muted the next. A 2.1 dB lift in the low mids thickens vocals slightly. The KZ ZSX rates higher for less money, and the iBasso IT01S rates higher still for a small step up.
