Older model: the SVS SB-3000 (rated 4.1/5).
Pros: Compact sealed 13-inch high-excursion driver backed by a 1,200W RMS (4,000W peak) Sledge STA-1200D2 MOSFET amplifier with a 295MHz DSP engine. SVS rates frequency response from 17Hz to 230Hz (±3dB). Features SVS Subwoofer Control smartphone app connectivity, 3-band parametric EQ, and onboard SVS Auto EQ room correction.
Cons: A sealed enclosure trades raw low-end output below 25Hz compared to ported models like the PB-3000 R|Evolution, requiring careful room boundary placement or dual subwoofers in large open spaces.
