Pros: The 2015 T/i replacement for the REL Acoustics T-7, pairing an 8” active driver with a 10” down-firing passive radiator and a 200W amplifier, in a larger, better-braced cabinet. REL’s high-level input lets it blend with a stereo amplifier’s own speaker outputs.
Cons: No independent measurements yet, so its output can’t be compared with ranked subwoofers. The Absolute Sound found the REL Acoustics T/7x that replaced it weightier, with more extension and better decay. Discontinued.
