#83 Paradigm Defiance S12 Estimated eBay
Older model: the Paradigm Defiance V12 (ranked lower, rated 3.6/5).
Pros: Paradigm’s current 12” sealed subwoofer, following the Paradigm Defiance V12 with a new aluminum woofer, an 800W RMS (1,200W peak) amplifier, built-in wireless, app control and Anthem Room Correction. Future Audiophile found it handled deep bass well.
Cons: No independent measurements yet, so its output can’t be compared with ranked subwoofers. Future Audiophile found it a little less tight than a dual-woofer B&W DB1B on fast bass passages, and at 24.3 kg it is heavy for its size.
