#40 JL Audio Fathom f212v2: $10,000.00 Estimated Paragon Sight & Sound eBay
Same family: the JL Audio Fathom f110 (smaller subwoofer, rated 3/5), the JL Audio Fathom f112v2 (smaller subwoofer, ranked lower, estimated 3.9/5) and the JL Audio Fathom f113 (smaller subwoofer, ranked lower, rated 4.1/5).
Pros: JL Audio’s dual-driver Fathom: two 12” W7 drivers and a 3600W amplifier in a tall sealed cabinet, rated 20 to 97Hz (±1.5dB) and 15Hz at -10dB anechoic, with automatic room optimization.
Cons: No independent measurements yet, so its output can’t be compared directly with ranked subwoofers; the rating is estimated from the measured Fathom f113 (118.9dB in the 40 to 80Hz CEA-2010 bands): two 12” drivers with twice the cone area and 3600W should add several dB, putting it among the louder sealed subs. It weighs 102kg.
