Pros: An 8” studio monitor with a Kevlar woofer, a 1.25” silk dome tweeter in an elliptical waveguide and 140W of amplification. It takes XLR, TRS and RCA inputs and has acoustic space, midrange and treble controls.

Cons: Audioholics’ measurements stop at 200Hz, so it has no preference score; the rating is estimated from that data and its successor, the Eris Studio 8. It weighs 10.4kg each. Discontinued.
